Coastal Connections operates a thrift store which is staffed by individuals attending our programs. In addition to the fine clothing sold at the store, Thrifty Threads has partnered with Pettengill House to develop a voucher program to provide low to no-cost clothing to community members in need. Our Mission is to teach skills individuals need while making a difference in the local community. We believe that our presence in the community is mutually beneficial. Both the community and the people we serve will benefit from the relationships we establish.
The store is open Monday through Friday from 9-3:00
We accept donations of clothing as our space is small. Please call ahead if you have other items to donate and we will let you know if we have room to accept them.
We accept donations daily.
All clothes must be clean and free of stains or tears.
Please call ahead if you have a large donation and may need help getting them in to the store.
If you would like to volunteer your time to work in the store, we will be happy to meet with you.
